What are you speaking about at JavaLand and why did you choose this particular topic for your presentation? Why are you passionate about this?

At JavaLand I will present ways to "Be more productive with IntelliJ IDEA". This is a live demo session, where I show lots of IntelliJ IDEA features that can help you be a more productive developer!

What will attendees of your lecture be able to take away/learn?

Hopefully attendees will learn some new features that they can use in their daily work.

What developments or trends are you currently following in the Java world?

As always, I am interested in things that can make developers' lives easier. From great tools, like IntelliJ IDEA, to new Java language features, and any tools and skills that make building, understanding and maintaining our applications easier. 

Where do you live and how are you traveling to JavaLand? How long will your trip take?

As I live near Amsterdam, I will travel to JavaLand by car. This should take about 4 hours one way. 

How do you pass the time on the journey? Do you have any book or podcast recommendations?

As far as books go, I highly recommend "The Programmer's Brain" by Felienne Hermans.

What are you most looking forward to at this JavaLand and what value do you hope to gain from the event?

Mostly, I look forward to seeing friends and meeting new people.
